Some things about Tessa (beyond the obvious)
A Southern California native, Tessa Chan Southwell is a proud multi-racial actor, producer, writer, and all around creative junkie. She graduated with honors from New York University, with a BFA in Drama and a Minor in Film Producing.
Tessa has always been an avid storyteller. From a young age, she began writing short stories, comics, and even co-founded her elementary school’s first student-run newspaper. Still (self-proclaimed) famous for the advice column, “Ask Tessa.”
Tessa joined theatre in middle school, despite previously having terrible stage fright (we’re all still unsure what changed). She performed in shows throughout Southern California and Northern Ireland - her favorite was flying around the theatre as Peter Pan.
You can probably find Tessa on-set (as both an actor and field producer), teaching or practicing yoga, hosting dinner parties, or spending time in the great outdoors.
